This Cycas palm species is also called Peace Palm or narrow-leaved Sago palm. In the wild, it is found in large parts of Asia, in warm countries such as Japan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Madagascar. A true tropical palm and unfortunately not hardy in our climate. This Cycas artificial palm for outdoors is a UV resistant palm that is specially made for extended outdoor use. The sun rays normally required by the natural version to maintain a healthy plant are extremely damaging to artificial palm trees. Unless an adequate solution is found. LeopoldFlora has developed special UV-resistant raw materials for this purpose and now incorporates these in all its UV artificial palms. The result is that if you buy an artificial palm, it can remain outside for a long time on balconies and in gardens.
